CONCRETE CORING USING DART RIG
The Dart drilling rig can be used in conjunction with a concrete core drill fastened to the anvil at the base of the rig. The maximum diameter hole which can be cored is 152mm (which is used to fit a flush metal cover for installations) this enables hard surfaces to be cored prior to sampling or testing the ground underneath. There is however no facility for coring larger holes for Rotary/ Shell & auger rigs and coring of the sub-surface at depths greater than 1 metre BGL.

CONCRETE CORING RIG
The Stand alone diamond coring rig is designed to core holes in concrete /tarmac with diameters of 25mm up to 300mm and to a maximum depth of a metre. The unit is powered buy 110v electrical motor which can be powered either from the mains using an 110v transformer or from diesel/petrol suitable power packs. Therefore it is suitable for coring holes prior to Rotary/ Shell & auger rigs drilling on hard standing.

HORIZONTAL CORING CONCRETE /BRICKWALLS
Cores to determine the thickness/condition of walls, etc. can be cored between 25mm-152mm diameter and up to a metre depth.
